A few months back, Emily participated in her first t.p.-ing at a slumber party. She and her friends did a couple of kids' houses that they knew from school.
This morning we awoke to our own t.p.'d yard. Emily's friends had come and "christened" our front lawn. She was none too pleased! My niece (she's 5), who had spent the night, took one look and said, "Toilet paper? Gross!"

Thanksgiving...and being thankful...
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It's a time to spend with family and remember all that we have to be thankful for...
We are finally close enough to see family almost whenever we want to. After all the years of living 400 miles away, it is so fun to have cousins and grandparents and aunts and uncles around to spend time with. And when out-of-town family comes to visit, we can host the gatherings. Thank you, Lord, for our getting to spend time with our family.
I am thankful for grocery stores that are so well stocked. I am thankful for the plentiful food we enjoy...
I am thankful for the fun that our family has while we are cooking!

More Friends at Disneyland!
Today, we got to see more friends at Disneyland. Our friends the Cernanskys were down from NorCal and we were there trying to squeeze in one more visit before the annual passes expire! I love it!

Disney and Friends
Our friends, the Villanueva Family, were coming down to go to Disneyland. We (I) invited ourselves to join them on Friday (since we have annual passes this year.) We had a great time! We haven't seen them since last January. All of the kids are getting so big! It was so fun to catch up with them and go to Disneyland too!
